Were I come from there is a saying "You get out of life what you put in to it".
That so applies to a self improvement program. When you are contemplating a new program of study, always realize that you are the determining factor.
It is awesome to have great instructors and mentors.
You are the one who has to put their suggestions into action.
They can't wave a magic wand and do the work for you.
That is why I suggest my apprentice students commit a year to study program.
If you can integrate new ideas, change up the way you have been thinking about things and doing things. You can get some different results.
Below are my 5 Tips to create a new habit:
1. Script in your mind: When you are driving to work or on a walk, talk to your self about the way you see this new quality unfolding in your life. Energy follows thought, the more you think about this new quality, you can see your self in that role.
2. Plan a head: I use my phone with daily reminders to take an action on something I want to get done. Usually I have two or three reminders.
3. Get Friends & Family on board: I tell my friends & family I want their help to bring this into life. They can be a great source of encouragement.
4. Post Visual Reminders: This is were a big vision board can be helpful. A giant easel with a big tablet of your To Do list in the middle of the office is a great tool!
5. Make the idea of change exciting: When I trained for Nationals in Tae Kwon Do, I knew we would be doing a lot of running at a local track. I don't like to run, so I bought some fun work our shorts and shoes to make a hard workout more appealing. Color can really be a great mood changer.
Our personal refinement is the most important thing we do in this life.
Make it a priority and the rest of your life will fall into place. I hope you enjoyed these ideas, if you are ready for a self mastery program in your life check out my apprentice program.
Bright Blessings!

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old
daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.”
She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely
off topic but I had to tell someone!

Such great tips MarVeena…and darn that one about getting the vision in and repeating it. I know that one, and I forget!

These are excellent tips, MarVeena, and as you write, the key to change is “you.” One of my tools for change is sticky notes with my intent or a phrase about the intent written on them. I place these in my car, on my bathroom mirror, next to the dryer button, etc. – and seeing them jars my thinking to re-enforce the new pathway I’m trying to build.

So many of us are working on our own and have to remain vigilant all the time about staying on task, etc., with our businesses. So the suggestion to enlist a friend is excellent. I know I have accountability partners for different aspects of my life … and I sure get those things done!
